Abstract
Patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension are not expected to have low cerebrospinal pressure syndrome after lumbar puncture because these two conditions are thought to be on the extremes of the cerebrospinal pressure spectrum disorders. We experienced a patient with low cerebrospinal pressure syndrome developed after lumbar puncture for the purpose of evaluation of intracranial hypertension. This case represents a further example of the association between the both diseases of which the pathophysiology is still unknown.
